Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Cook to skillfully apply culinary techniques and contribute to guest experiences with a welcoming service attitude. You will help set up for service, maintain menu knowledge, and support kitchen leadership to deliver WOW moments for guests.

The role requires 18+ years old, 1–2 years of cook experience, and flexibility for on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays. Perks include wellness programs, discounts, free meals, and more.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (experience in a similar resort setting) preferred.
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (experience as a Cook) preferred.
• Available to work On-Call varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and apply culinary techniques.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service.
• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups.
• Work as a team, assist all guests’ needs and inquiries.
