Job summary

MGM Resorts International seeks a Master Cook at Mandalay Bay's Libertine Social to lead food prep and station work, ensuring meals meet Chef standards and guest expectations. You will help create WOW experiences and contribute to a lively dining atmosphere in Las Vegas.

The role requires 1+ year of experience, with 2+ years in high-volume restaurants preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required, and culinary training is a plus. Competitive perks support health and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience in food service.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Formal culinary training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow methods of food preparation, cooking, portion size, sauces and garnishing.
• Set-up workstation based on pars established by Chef and Sous Chef.
• Operate a specific station and follow station set-up sheet.
• Evaluate cooked food for quality, flavor and appearance by taste and smell.
• Drive CRM system by ensuring orders are handled correctly.
• Comply with health and safety standards and maintain proper holding temperatures.
• Complete closing requirements and delegate tasks as instructed.
