Join to apply for the Cook/Chef role at FREEDOM POINTE AT THE VILLAGES, LLC

This role involves full-scope, hands-on cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department, with a focus on quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction. The position offers an exciting opportunity to be one of the first employees of the community and to join a dedicated team caring for residents.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization standards.
  2. Ensuring food quality, appearance, and presentation meet standards.
  3. Producing and serving menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary requirements.
  4. Demonstrating speed, accuracy, and efficiency in cooking.
  5. Assisting with meal serving and ware washing.
  6. Evaluating food service quality and making operational revisions as needed.
  7. Representing the community positively to residents and visitors.
  8. Supporting a culture of engagement, top-line revenue, and occupancy growth.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Culinary degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of restaurant, senior living, or equivalent cooking experience.
