Reporting to the F&B General Manager, the Cook will exceed the expectations of all Bunkhouse guests in a multitude of tasks that include food preparation, cooking, seasoning menu items, ordering supplies, and maintaining Health Department Standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare a variety of foods according to orders and approved procedures.
• Prep food for after-hours distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Store food properly to prevent spoilage.
• Transport supplies and equipment as needed.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Test foods for proper cooking using sensory methods.
• Portion, garnish, and serve food.
• Regulate cooking equipment temperatures.
• Estimate food needs and manage supplies.
• Assist in menu planning considering costs and event needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff and guests.
• Communicate effectively across departments.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Stay informed on safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Participate in meetings and adhere to policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in hospitality or service industry.
• Proficiency in the primary language of the workplace.
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents.
