Job summary

Nurse Next Door Santa Monica is hiring caregivers to support seniors in South Pasadena, CA. This in-person role emphasizes compassionate, one-on-one care with flexible scheduling and regular training opportunities to grow your career.

You’ll work with care teams to follow care plans, assist with ADLs, transfers, and mobility, while maintaining safety and documenting care activities. This position supports both full- and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certified (employer can assist with getting certification).
• Background Check required.
• Negative TB skin test (within 2 years).
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Duties

Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a

Registered Health Care Aide

Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position:

Home Care Aide certified (employer can also assist with getting HCA certification) Background Check
