Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North is seeking compassionate caregivers to deliver one-on-one in-home care to seniors in the Fresno area. You’ll follow individualized care plans, assist with daily activities, and provide companionship to help clients live independently with dignity and safety.

The role offers flexible scheduling options and opportunities for training and growth. Work is in person, with shifts including day, evening, and weekend hours to fit your life.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and light housekeeping as per client care plan.
• Provide companionship and personal care.
• Assist with ADLs within scope of practice for an HCA.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Complete records and documentation accurately.

Duties

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position:

• Home Care Aide certified (Employer can also assist with getting HCA certified)
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old)
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old)
• 2 Professional references
