Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North is hiring Home Care Aides to support seniors at home. You will perform meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and carry out the client’s care plan with care and compassion.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification required or employer can assist with certification.
• Background check (within 12 months)
• TB skin test negative (within 2 years)
• Two professional references

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADLs within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Duties

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properlyFunction within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position:

• Home Care Aide certified (Employer can also assist with getting HCA certified)
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old)
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old)
• 2 Professional references
