Job summary

Nurse Next Door Fresno North is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes. You will perform meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care, and implement the client’s care plan while assisting with transfers and ADLs to maintain safety and comfort.

This in-person role offers flexible schedules, multiple shift options, and both full-time and part-time openings. Requirements include Home Care Aide certification (the company can assist with certification),

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification (employer can assist with obtaining).
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old).
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old).
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Duties

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position:

• Home Care Aide certified (Employer can also assist with getting HCA certified)
• Background or Criminal Record Check (less than 1 year old)
• Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old)
• 2 Professional references
