You will prepare, season, and cook food for university dining halls per standardized recipes, perform advance prep, and maintain clean work areas and equipment. Candidates should have 9–12 months of experience and be comfortable with measurements, simple arithmetic, and interpreting recipes. The 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of commercial English, grammar, and arithmetic incl. decimals and fractions; basic report use.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook foods per standardized recipes and procedures.
• Make advance preparation for food items as required.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Ensure serving items are at proper temperatures and adequately stocked.
• Assist cooks in preparing and cooking various foods as directed.
