Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP is seeking a Cook to prepare meals per menus and resident diets, ensuring quality and safety. The role requires a ROCKSTAR attitude, English proficiency, and knowledge of sanitation principles.

A Food Safety Manager Certification must be obtained within 30 days, and healthcare kitchen experience is preferred. The Cook will lead food prep, follow recipes, perform routine cleaning, manage ordering and serving processes, and maintain safe work areas in FPACP’s

Qualifications

• ROCKSTAR attitude required.
• English language skills required (read, write, speak).
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic methods.
• Food Safety Manager Certification must be presented within 30 days of hire.
• One year of cooking experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to menus, resident diets, and preferences.
• Perform daily cleaning per sanitation, safety, and infection control policies.
• Manage ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, serving of food within the Department of Food & Nutrition Services.
• Safely operate equipment and report repairs immediately.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and adhere to dress code and PPE rules.
• Support attendance and teamwork within FPACP.
