Job Summary:
Under general supervision, perform a variety of cooking duties including preparing hot and cold food items, handling leftovers, testing recipes, and cleaning the kitchen.

Experience and Education:

Job Duties:

• Meet all performance standards as per department procedures.
• Follow production guides, assemble food, supplies, and equipment for daily preparation of salads, sandwiches, and hot foods.
• Support teamwork, provide constructive feedback, and participate in resolutions.
• Interact courteously with patients, visitors, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain HACCP and production logs, properly temperature food, and document accordingly.
• Report spoiled or defective food or supplies.
• Sanitize work areas and equipment during and after food preparation.
• Cook or bake food according to recipes; assist with cooking and prepping as needed.
• Maintain departmental goals for Press Ganey scores and health inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
