Job summary

Cook and Counter Assistant role at Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen, Guernsey Airport, within Caterleisure (Guernsey) Ltd. You will join a friendly airport catering team, delivering high‑quality breakfasts and lunches throughout the day.

We offer full‑time and part‑time contracts, a minimum 35 hours per week, a flexible rota, and some early starts. Pay is £13.00 per hour with a £250 probation bonus, 28 days leave, free meals, and uniform.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English and clear communication.
• Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Capable of working independently or in a team.
• Hold Guernsey residency and live in private accommodation.
• Must have the right to work in Guernsey and pass police disclosure.
• Must provide a continuous 5-year history for airport security pass.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches and paninis.
• Assist with food preparation and cooking duties.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Receive and organise deliveries.
• Ensure excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen areas.
• Support colleagues during busy service periods.
• Previous kitchen experience would be beneficial, training provided.

The Role
