Job summary

Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield in Omaha, NE seeks a Cook for AM and PM shifts. The role prepares high-quality food in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with strong emphasis on safety and presentation.

Full-time, non-exempt position with hourly pay from $19.00 to $22.00. You will follow recipes, maintain a clean work area, rotate stock, and support opening/closing duties while working with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and adhere to portion and presentation standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Dependable with strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience in airport or travel-related food service settings.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification is a plus.

• Communicate any equipment or food supply concerns to the Supervisor promptly.
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and preparation tasks.
