Job summary

Plum Market Food Service – Eppley Airfield is seeking a friendly cashier/barista to serve travelers with coffee, beverages, and quick bites at the airport. You will handle transactions, maintain station cleanliness, and support teammates in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hospitality experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Airport credentials may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or cashier in food service or retail preferred.
• Strong customer service and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash handling experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass an airport background check and qualify for badging.
• Familiarity with commercial espresso machines and beverage preparation.
• Experience working in airports or high-traffic hospitality settings.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

• Support teammates with service, stocking, and cleaning tasks during slower periods or peak times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties for the barista and cashier stations.
