Job summary

Paycom in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a dedicated food service cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals according to schedule. This full-time role requires maintaining clean facilities and inventory while ensuring safety and presentation standards.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year cooking for large groups, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Florida Food Managers Certification should be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Job Location: FLA-Ft Myers AC - Ft Myers, FL 33919, Salary Range: $15.25 Hourly, Job Category: Food Service, Schedule/Hours: 40

This position is responsible for:

Plans, prepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner.


• Cleans kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances.


• Maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Work performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.
