AC&T Co. Inc. in Maryland is seeking a dependable Cook to support our kitchen operations and serve customers promptly. The role requires standing for long periods, handling hot surfaces, and maintaining sanitary conditions in a busy store kitchen.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, be 18+, and comfortable working weekends/holidays. We offer benefits including health and dental insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age or have a work permit.
• Must be able to speak, read, understand and write English.
• Able to lift and move items up to 40 lbs and work with hot surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer relations and service.
• Coordinate with Store/Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain inventory and protect company property.
• Manage vendor control during shift.
• Operate stove, oven and steamer; handle ingredients.
• Prepare salads and break down products for use.
• Bake cakes and frost/box as required.
• Wash dishes; use hot water and cleaning agents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
