Four Seasons Chicago is seeking a Cook 2 who brings passion for excellence to our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare specialized cuisine, maintain safety standards and deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ServeSafe Certification and allergen training are required.
• Proficient knife skills are expected.
• Reading, writing and spoken English skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and provide encouragement.
• Place daily item requisitions with Sous Chef assistance.
• Follow food safety, HACCP logs, dating, labeling and rotation of items.
• Communicate menu items and shortages with Sous Chefs.
• Ensure adequate station supplies for service.
• Set up the station and prepare for service.
• Prepare and plate items per system orders and coordinate timing.
• Break down the station and label stored foods.
• Address dietary requests and guest concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Report accidents promptly and professionally.
• Demonstrate Four Seasons’ high standards in all actions.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
• Adhere to Four Seasons food standards for timely service.
• Multi-task with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment.
• Support other kitchens and stations as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
