Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks Cook 2 | Blind Salamander for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa! Ranked among Texas's best resorts: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest (Condé Nast Traveler) and Top 5 Resorts in Texas (Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2024).

Responsibilities
  1. Preparing a variety of hot and cold food items for outlets, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  2. Operating at least one kitchen station (Sauté, Grill, Garde Manger, etc.).
  3. Maintaining cleanliness of all preparation stations and surrounding culinary areas.
  4. Organizing and preparing current and future requisitions.
  5. Communicating menu and dietary updates effectively across shifts.
Qualifications
  1. 1-2 years of culinary experience preferred; proficiency in at least one culinary station.
  2. Knowledge of kitchen prep, knife skills, sanitation, and safety.
  3. Ability to stand for 8+ hours daily.
  4. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  5. Valid Food Handlers Certification.
