Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare nourishing meals, coordinate production with service times, and maintain high quality and presentation in a caring senior living environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and 2+ years in food service, with long-term care experience preferred. Excellent customer service and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures.
• Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance.
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
