Job summary

WellBridge of Rochester Hills is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare meals, coordinate production with the kitchen, and assist with tray line setup and daily cleaning, while upholding quality standards for our guests and residents.

This full-time role starts at up to $19.85 per hour, includes hero pay, rotating weekends, and a strong benefits package: medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Team player committed to supporting the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate food production to align with serving times and ensure quality and appearance.
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• Assist with daily kitchen cleaning requirements.

How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• You will coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures. Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
