Job summary

WellBridge of Rochester Hills is hiring a Cook to prepare meals and support daily kitchen operations. You will work with the Executive Chef to ensure high standards of quality, portion control, and sanitary procedures. This role emphasizes teamwork, guest service, and adherence to kitchen guidelines.

The position offers full-time or part-time schedules, with afternoon shifts and no late nights. Competitive benefits are included, and wage starts at or up to $19.85 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related food experience, preferably supervisory in a hospital/long term care facility.

Our Chefs prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our guests and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience is provided at all times. They work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• Full Time and Part Time positions available
• Allshifts includerotating weekends and holidays
• Afternoons - 11:30 am - 8:00 PM - No late nights!

How you will help people every day:

• You will prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• You will coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved
• You may assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• You will assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures. Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.
