Job summary

Recover-Care in Kansas is seeking a Night Cook to prepare meals for patients and staff in the nursing center. You will follow directions from the food service director, prepare nourishments, and label foods as per center procedures while ensuring proper beverage service and dessert portions.

Candidate should have strong communication skills, basic sanitation knowledge, and prior food service experience; long-term care experience is preferred. This full-time role is on-site with the center.

Qualifications

• The Night Cook candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
