Job summary

Wathena Healthcare & Rehab Center is seeking a Night Cook to support meals for patients and staff in a nursing center setting.

You will prepare food per directions, label nourishments, portion desserts and beverages, and follow production sheets. Strong English reading and verbal skills, sanitation basics, and prior food service experience are preferred, especially in long-term care.

Qualifications

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
  • Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
  • Prior experience in food service preferred.
  • Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Job description
