Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a cook to join our kitchen team in Newport Beach, CA. You will prepare meals for residents and support a restaurant‑style dining atmosphere, while building friendly relationships with residents and colleagues.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and adherence to recipes and schedules, contributing to a supportive environment where residents thrive and staff have opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in a restaurant‑style atmosphere can be the highlight of residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
