Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare meals for residents, work with staff to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, and contribute to a restaurant-style dining experience that highlights residents’ day.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare, plus a state-required food handlers permit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Join the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food for our residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, employees and coworkers.
• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents’ day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
