Job summary

TRAVELODGE AND PENNY'S DINER OF MILFORD, UT is hiring a Cook to prepare banquet and restaurant meals, maintain kitchen stock, and ensure cleanliness under the supervision of the Executive Chef and General Manager.

The role requires a food handler permit, HS diploma, and reliable attendance with 1 year of food prep experience preferred. Join a team focused on quality service and timely meal delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work PM shift.
• Basic food preparation skills required.
• One year food prep experience desirable.
• Must be dependable with attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all banquet items as specified by function sheets.
• Prepares all restaurant food orders.
• Ensures proper stocking of menu items.
• Supervises dishwasher to ensure utensils availability.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness at all times.
• Produces breakfast items.
• Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and GM.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepares all banquet items as specified by function sheets.
• Responsible for preparation of all food orders from restaurant.
• Ensures proper stocking line for menu items.
• Supervises dishwasher to ensure adequate utensils are available for guest needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen at all times.
• Production of breakfast.
• Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager

Minimum Education Requirements :

• Must have food handler's permit.
• Training in food preparation desirable
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements :

• Must be able to work PM shift.
• Basic food preparation.
• One (1) year food preparation experience highly desirable.
• Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality.
