Job summary

TRAVELODGE/PENNY'S DINER OF MISSOURI VALLEY, IA is seeking a Cook to join the team. You will prepare banquet items and restaurant orders, maintain a clean kitchen, and supervise dishwashing to ensure guest needs are met.

The role requires food handling permit, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a reliable, punctual attitude. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all banquet items as specified by function sheets.
• Responsible for preparation of all food orders from restaurant.

• Supervises dishwasher to ensure adequate utensils are available for guest needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen at all times.
• Production of breakfast.
• Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager

$200.00 retention bonus after 90 days of employment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Education Requirements:

Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements:

• Must be able to work PM shift.

• Basic food preparation.

• One (1) year food preparation experience highly desirable.

• Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality.
