Job summary

TRAVELODGE/PENNY'S DINER OF MISSOURI VALLEY, IA is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items, maintain kitchen cleanliness and stock ingredients. You will work under the Executive Chef and General Manager, ensure timely production of breakfast/lunch, and supervise dishwashing to keep sufficient utensils for guests.

Requirements include a food handler's permit, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of food preparation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid food handler's permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Training in food preparation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all banquet items as specified by function sheets.
• Responsible for preparation of all food orders from restaurant.
• Ensures proper stocking line for menu items.
• Supervises dishwasher to ensure adequate utensils are available for guest needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen at all times.
• Production of breakfast.
• Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Education Requirements:

Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements:

• Must be able to work PM shift.

• Basic food preparation.

• One (1) year food preparation experience highly desirable.

• Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality.
