Job summary

Lexington Park Independent Living is seeking a part-time cook to join our kitchen staff, preparing meals under the supervision of the Dietary Manager and ensuring quality and timely service for residents.

We are committed to high sanitation standards and a supportive, family-like environment, with opportunities to contribute wherever needed to keep our dining program running smoothly. Experience in institutional food service is a plus, and competitive wages apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods depending on menu, recipe, and diet breakdowns for each meal.
• Ensures delivery of optimal food quality, timely service, as well as high sanitation standards.
• Must be able to work at a constant pace to ensure that food is prepared and served on time for each meal of the day.
• Must be able to help wherever needed.
