Zusammenfassung

Marbridge Foundation is seeking a Cook to join our Dietary Team. The role supports meals for residents, guests, visitors, and staff, with responsibilities including planning, preparation, and serving in a compliant, caring environment.

Shift is Wednesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. We emphasize HHSC standards, IDDSI guidelines, cleanliness, and teamwork, with benefits and growth opportunities within our residential community.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of one year experience cooking in a restaurant or institutional setting with supervisory duties.
• Ability to plan menus, read/write English, read recipes, and follow preparation instructions; document per regulations.

Aufgaben

• Ensure kitchen operations comply with HHSC standards and food safety regulations.
• Prepare and serve food meeting IDDSI guidelines, maintaining quality, appearance, and safe temperatures.
• Follow posted menus and accurately document any required changes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining room, and equipment.
• Assist cooks with food preparation and tray line service as needed.
• Support dietary aide functions, including table setup, bussing, dishwashing, restocking, and preparing drinks/snacks.
• Assist residents in the dining room to ensure a positive and respectful meal experience.
• Train resident employees on assigned tasks and food service duties.
• Participate in other dietary and organizational activities as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.
