Spring 3 Harmony in Texas is seeking a preschool kitchen staffer to support daily meal preparation and service for students. You will cook, assemble breakfasts and lunches, and craft monthly menus for multiple classrooms.

The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, inventory management, and coordination with management. The job offers weekday hours and a focus on providing nutritious meals to children in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for 150+ children is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh fruit, vegetables, and other products.
• Serve breakfast and lunch for classrooms; provide morning and afternoon snacks.
• Write and prepare monthly lunch and snack menus.
• Clean and organize prep areas, sweep/mop floors, and tidy prep fridge/pantry.
• Rinse kitchen equipment and cutting boards.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen and pantry.
• Budget, manage, and order inventory.
• Assist in other areas as needed by management.
• Have fun working in a preschool.

Compensation

New Cooks generally earn between $15 and $17 an hour depending on professional experience.

Job Summary

Help us cook for our wonderful students! Your job responsibilities include but not are not limited to:

• Preparing fresh fruit, vegetables, and other products
• Serving breakfast, cooking and serving lunch for all classrooms; serving a morning and afternoon snack
• Writing and preparing monthly lunch and snack menus
• Cleaning and washing prep table, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning and organizing the prep fridge and pantry
• Rinsing kitchen equipment and cutting boards
• Maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen and pantry
• Budgeting, managing, and ordering inventory
• Assisting in other areas as needed assigned by management
• And most importantly having fun! You are working in a preschool!

Qualifications

Experience cooking for 150 children plus is a must!
