The Goddard School in Minnesota is seeking a preschool kitchen cook to prepare fresh meals for students and staff. You will plan monthly lunch and snack menus, serve meals, and ensure the kitchen and pantry stay clean and organized.

• Preparing fresh fruit, vegetables and other products.
• Serving breakfast and lunch for all classrooms; morning and afternoon snacks.

• Cleaning and organizing the prep area and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen and pantry.
• Budgeting, managing and ordering inventory.

New Cooks generally earn between $15 and $17 an hour depending on professional experience.

Job Summary

Help us cook for our wonderful students! Your job responsibilities include but not are not limited to:

• Preparing fresh fruit, vegetables, and other products
• Serving breakfast, cooking and serving lunch for all classrooms; serving a morning and afternoon snack
• Writing and preparing monthly lunch and snack menus
• Cleaning and washing prep table, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning and organizing the prep fridge and pantry
• Rinsing kitchen equipment and cutting boards
• Maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen and pantry
• Budgeting, managing, and ordering inventory
• Assisting in other areas as needed assigned by management
• And most importantly having fun! You are working in a preschool!

Qualifications

Experience cooking for 150 children plus is a must!
