Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA, is hiring a full-time Cook for its Dietary Department. The role prepares meals per standard recipes, supports menu knowledge, and serves patients, staff and visitors with courtesy while accommodating dietary needs.

The position includes responsibilities for maintaining clean kitchen and dining areas, assisting with supplies and weekly inventory, and contributing to a supportive, respectful healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ServeSafe certification is preferred. This training will be offered if the employee is not already ServeSafe certified.
• Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.
• Must have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department.
• Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.
• Maintains and cleans assigned areas including kitchen, dining rooms, storage and receiving areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Roxbury is recruiting for a full-time Cook to work in our Dietary Department.The hours are between6 amand6 pmwith every other weekend rotation.

There is a $500 sign-on bonus for this position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of a Cook:
