Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA, a 112-bed behavioral health facility, is hiring a full-time Cook to work in the Dietary Department. Shifts are 6 am–6 pm with every other weekend rotation; a $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

You will prepare meals according to standard recipes, maintain clean kitchen and dining areas, assist with supplies ordering and weekly inventory, and ensure dietary needs are respected for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
ServeSafe certification preferred. This training will be offered if the employee is not already ServeSafe certified.
Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record

Responsibilities

Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.
Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.
Maintains and cleans assigned areas including kitchen, dining rooms, storage and receiving areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff.
Assists in ordering of supplies and food products and completes weekly inventory of items.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Roxbury is recruiting for a full-time Cook to work in our Dietary Department.The hours are between6 amand6 pmwith every other weekend rotation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of a Cook:

Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.
Must have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department.
Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.
