Roxbury is recruiting for a full-time Cook to work in our Dietary Department. The hours are between 6 am and 6 pm with every other weekend rotation.

There is a $500 sign-on bonus for this position.

Job Duties And Responsibilities Of a Cook

• Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.


• Must have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department.


• Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.


• Maintains and cleans assigned areas including kitchen, dining rooms, storage and receiving areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff.


• Assists in ordering of supplies and food products and completes weekly inventory of items.
