What You'll Bring to the Table:
As a Cook at Country Manor, you'll be responsible for daily food production, preparation, and ensuring quality standards are met. Our culinary offerings are nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing, reflecting our commitment to care.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of cooking experience in a long-term care facility or large-scale catering
- Experience with special textures/diets (IDDSI)
- ServSafe Certification (preferred)
- Ability to cook independently for approximately 200 residents daily
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet meal times
- Knowledge of food production, weights/measures, and recipes
- Understanding of federal and state food safety regulations
- Flexibility to adapt to various duties as needed
- Leadership and problem-solving skills as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Follow safety procedures, fire regulations, and emergency plans; attend training
- Prepare attractive, palatable food in accordance with menus and health guidelines
- Supervise dietary staff in food production and maintain a positive work environment
- Adhere to infection control policies, including proper food handling and sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of food prep areas and equipment
- Ensure punctuality and confidentiality at all times

Additional Details:
This is a part-time position, working 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, every other Friday, weekends, and holidays required.
