Job summary

Carlton Senior Living is hiring a Cook for a full-time schedule with open availability. Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintain sanitary standards, and support daily kitchen operations while ensuring quality and resident satisfaction in a warm, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old per Title 22 requirements.
• At least one year of culinary experience.
• Formal culinary training or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes by following standardized recipes, ensuring proper seasoning, doneness, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas while efficiently managing food inventory and production prep.
• Support daily kitchen operations, coordinating deliveries, and properly handling meats, produce, and baked goods.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.
