Carlton Senior Living in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking a Dishwasher/Prep Cook on an on-call basis. The role involves maintaining a clean kitchen, assisting with food prep, and supporting safety and sanitation protocols while collaborating with residents and team members.

This position offers on-call hours with a pay range of $16.50 to $18 per hour and opportunities to contribute to a warm, supportive living environment for older adults.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years or older, per Title 22 requirements
• Some experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper procedures.
• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and sanitizing work surfaces and equipment.
• Assist with food prep, banquet setup, and transporting supplies between storage, kitchen, and delivery areas as needed.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.
