Job summary

Marcus Theatres in Roswell, GA is seeking cooks to join our culinary team at the movies. You will set up kitchen stations, read orders, prep and cook food to recipe, and help maintain high quality and sanitation in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Competitive starting pay of $16 per hour with premium holiday pay, flexible or set schedules, and benefits for full-time employees, plus free movie screenings and accelerated training in a professional kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience with kitchen equipment and food preparation.
• Ability to set up and manage kitchen stations.
• Capable of reading orders and executing recipes accurately.
• Commitment to high food quality, sanitation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food items.
• Set-up of kitchen equipment.
• Station set-up, breakdown, and all necessary advance prep.
• Read tickets to produce orders.
• Prep and cooking of food to recipe.
• Maintain high quality level of food production and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Ability to keep the line and prep area organized, stocked and clean.
• Follow direction of the management team and food & beverage leadership.
• Assist in control of food waste.
