Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in compliance with health and safety standards. The role includes reviewing menus and ensuring timely food preparation, while supporting diet plans prescribed by physicians and dietitians.

Applicants with a year of dietary/food experience in a healthcare setting are preferred, and certification in sanitation is required. This position emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork within a care environment.

Qualifications

• One (1) year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred but not required.
• Must have State Food Service Sanitation certification.
• Food Sanitation License preferred.

The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that quality food service is always provided.
