Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking passionate Cooks to join the high‑volume kitchen at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. We have multiple opportunities across shifts, including mornings and nights, with 1 AM and 1 PM full‑time banquet cook roles.

You will prepare menu items to our culinary standards, deliver high‑quality dishes, and maintain daily sanitation. Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year in a full‑service kitchen, be able to lift 50 pounds, stand long hours, and work

Qualifications

• At least 6 months to 1 year preferred culinary experience in a high‑volume, full‑service kitchen, or actively seeking a culinary education.
• At least 6 months of experience in full operational with willingness to learn.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, along with knowledge of food products and kitchen equipment.
• Active food handler’s certification or the ability to obtain one.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Desire to exceed expectations.
• Energetic personality.
• Punctuality and reliability

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are seeking passionate Cooks who love creating exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. We have multiple opportunities available across our high‑volume kitchen. This requires flexibility, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. 1 AM & 1PM Full‑Time Banquet Cook – Hours for morning shift typically run from 6 am – 2 pm / 7am – 3pm Hours for night shift typically run from 12 pm to 8 am.
