Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents in a clean, safe kitchen located in Raleigh. You will follow standardized recipes, manage food safety temperatures, and support dining service operations.

The role emphasizes high-quality meals, adherence to dietary modifications, and keeping accurate production records while contributing to a positive dining experience for residents.

• Knowledge of food safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
