Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Illinois is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment in a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure quality and presentation, and handle dietary modifications while maintaining logs and safety records.

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

Pay Range: 16.70 - 20.95
