Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that bring residents together in a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment. You will follow standardized recipes, manage dietary modifications, and help ensure high-quality service for our residents.

The role includes recording production quantities, maintaining temperatures, stocking and rotating food, and supporting dishwashing and dining services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
• You help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance
