Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Cook to prepare high-quality meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment in a safe, organized kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with dietary modifications and safety guidelines.

In this role you will record temperatures, manage stock and logs, assist with dining service, and may lead food production when the Dining Services Coordinator is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

Pay Range:

19.65 - 24.60
