Job summary

Sagora in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Cook to join our senior living community. You’ll prepare à la carte items, monitor stock, and maintain clean, safe kitchen areas while delivering friendly, courteous service to residents.

Applicants should have at least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen, be ServSafe certified, and hold a Food Handler’s permit. You’ll work with a supportive culinary team focused on residents first.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
