Job summary

Arcadia Care in Peoria Heights, IL is seeking a Cook responsible for the preparation of meals in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality, safe food service for residents.

You will review menus, prepare meals and snacks on schedule, and assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending physician and dietitian, while maintaining strict food safety practices and ensuring supplies are available for cooks.

Qualifications

• One (1) year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred but not required.
• Must have State Food Service Sanitation certification.
• Food Sanitation License preferred.
