Working as a Chef at Guardian Pasadena places you at the heart of supporting the care and education of young children. You will create menus filled with delicious and nutritious snacks and meals for children and their Educators, and participate in the learning experience when they help prepare food, forage from the garden, and learn about their food.

The Opportunity

• Develop a seasonal, nutritious menu that respects individual requirements regarding medical conditions, food preferences, and cultural considerations, ensuring children's health and wellbeing.
• Ensure children's health and wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships with children, Educators, families, and the Centre community.
• Uphold best practice food safety and hygienic standards at all times.

To be considered, you will have:

• Food Safety Supervisor certificate or Food Handling certification.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or working towards it (desirable).
• An awareness of your personal responsibilities under current Child Protection Laws.
• Current Working with Children's Check (for SA).
