Job summary

Johnson County Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a food service worker to prepare and serve meals for patients, staff, and special events in accordance with safety standards. You will help ensure meals taste great, are served at the correct temperatures, and presented attractively.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe kitchen, complying with health regulations, and supporting a collaborative team dedicated to patient welfare.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in quantity food preparation.
• Food Handler Certificate (If required by Local City, County or State)
• Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred.

Position Summary:

Thursday-Monday 11AM to 7:30 PM

Prepares and serves food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for patients,employeesandspecialevents, resulting in foods that taste good, are served at the proper temperature, and in an attractive manner in accordancewith established standards.Maintains a clean and safe working environmentin accordance withestablished standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Six months experience in quantity food preparation.
