Job summary

Johnson County Rehabilitation Hospital at Overland Park is seeking a dietary aide to prepare and serve meals for patients, staff and events, following food safety standards. The role runs Thursday through Monday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with responsibility to maintain a clean and organized kitchen and serve meals at correct temperatures.

Candidates should have at least six months of quantity food preparation experience, a Food Handlers Certificate if required, and an interest in therapeutic diet

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certificate (If required by Local City, County or State)
• Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred.

Position Summary:

Thursday-Monday 11AM to 7:30 PM

Prepares and serves food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for patients, employees and special events, resulting in foods that taste good, are served at the proper temperature, and in an attractive manner in accordance with established standards. Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Six months experience in quantity food preparation.
• Food Handlers Certificate (If required by Local City, County or State)

Desired Qualification:

• Experience with therapeutic diet preparation preferred.
